I need a job...
Back to work, son!
Man, I hate looking for a job...not that I've ever really had to look hard, but now I want something in my field (Histotechnology) but I have a year left before I'm certified so I can't get the position I want...The thought of taking a step back, even for a while, is depressing!

My favorite BLUES song ever
"1951 BLUES"
-I originally thought this song was by BIG JOE WILLIAMS....Then I found it listed as being by BOBO THOMAS on a comp with Big Joe...THEN I found the exact same recording as listed by LUTHER HUFF by many sources...????
At any rate this has continued for years to be my favorite blues song.
UPDATE:
I found in the book CHASIN' THAT DEVIL MUSIC that it was in fact Luther Huff (on mandolin) and his younger brother Percy (on guitar) who recorded the song for Trumpet Records.

What's up with that?
So, I have read in many forensic books that the skin and hair DO NOT continue to grow after death. The skin just shrinks, retracts, and rots away showing more of those materials. Yet I had a professor in Medical Terminology tell the whole class the opposite and I continue to read accounts of the opposite....
Why is this a debate? Is it not a scientifically proven fact that hair and nails DO NOT continue to grow? If anyone knows the truth let me know!
* fictitious conversation about this topic *
Friend: "Mike, why do you care?"
Mike: "Um...well...I'm just curious."
(ex) Friend: "You're creepy."

The New - Starts Here
Hello Friends, I have created this blog for no reason other than to express myself in a fun and creative way. I will talk about whatever I can think of and try to come off as semi-intelligent along the way...well I don't actually care about that since I believe I will be the only one looking at this, but it may be something that will benefit us all in the long run (yeah right).
Let me tell you a little about myself:
I am 30 years old...married to a beautiful girl named Stacy...and we have a BABY GIRL named Violet on the way! I was a PUNK ROCKER as a kid...(and still am) - I really want to be a cool father as well as a GOOD father. I dig '60s garage, '77 style punk and of course BLUES (delta especially but I like allot of the Piedmont style - oh and I love the Zydeco influenced Excello Swamp Blues label) - oh hell I dig almost all music but those are my faves. I am a musician in a band called TREMBLE AND SHAKE - you will see and hear a lot of that soon. There's alot more but I suppose I have plenty of time and space to use up.
